Highlights of the Brussels Motor Show 2025 ​

The 101st edition of the Brussels Motor Show, held from January 10 to 19, 2025, reaffirmed its status as a major event in the European automotive calendar after a year’s absence in 2024. With 61 brands presented in 5 major halls, the show proved to be one of the most successful in the post-COVID era of the automotive industry. 

The show unveiled many surprises and world premieres, demonstrating an innovative automotive industry that seeks to re-enchant enthusiasts and professionals with new models.

Things to remember:

  • 5 world premieres, which captivated participants, underlining the international scope of this event,
  • 14 European premieres, reflecting the continent’s central role in automotive trends.
  • 56 new vehicles introduced to the Belgian market, underlining the enthusiasm of the country’s automotive community.
  • 7 concept cars, offering a glimpse of the future of mobility, combining cutting-edge technology and innovative design.

The show also appealed to car enthusiasts, with numerous luxury and prestige cars on display: brands such as Porsche, Lotus, Maybach, Bentley and Lamborghini presented their latest models, embodying automotive excellence.

  • 45 dream cars and high-performance sports cars were on display, allowing visitors to discover unrivalled luxury and technical prowess.
  • 2 Formula 1 cars added an element of high-speed excitement, attracting motorsport aficionados.

Top-of-the-range sales experience ​

The Brussels Motor Show was distinguished by meticulously designed stands that showcased each and every vehicle. This high-end sales environment offered an immersive experience, allowing visitors to appreciate the know-how and innovation of the automotive offering.

A more discreet presence for electric models ​

In contrast to other recent shows, such as the Paris Motor Show 2024, the Brussels show featured fewer electric cars than expected, giving way to hybrid and internal combustion engines.

The 2025 edition prioritized inclusivity, ensuring that a wide range of vehicles were accessible to all visitors. From luxury models to more affordable options, the show aimed to attract a diverse audience, reflecting the evolving landscape of the automotive market.

2025 Car of the year ​

During the Show, the election of the Car of the Year 2025 took place. This year’s winner is the Renault 5 (and the Alpine A290). Renault thus completes a double after the Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric, which was voted Car of the Year 2024.
